My good lady always fancied a Rover 75 and with me liking the KV6 engine
we set about trying to find a suitable vehicle so that we could begin a
new project.
We surfed Ebay for a little while and found a V plate 2.0 KV6 based in
Bradford, which for some reason had cut out on a motorway journey and
failed to restart.
Seems like an ideal candidate to receive some of Lates600's tlc. Some of
the issues we discussed were quick fix or complex issues ? Did the client
who sold the vehicle tell us all they knew ?
I guess we all need to be aware that buying a vehicle especially from E-bay
can have some expensive pitfalls but we did base this project on worse
case scenario that it can be repaired and back on the road within a
reasonable budget as long as the vehicle described accurately.
Over the next couple of weeks, when time allows I will let you into the
projects details, very poorly looking engine photos, a list of faults
nearly as long as my arm.The end result of a few hours here and there is
one happy lady.I just need to show my good lady how to put some fuel in it
now !
Please revisit this page later to see the story unfold.
